To Suffer Privation

Good morning! Today I will get back my transfer cable, hopefully.................
Meanwhile, here are some other photos that I don't think I have posted before, and either has or have had a great meaning in my life:

The bear skulls. This traditional Norwegian storehouse is decorated with two bear skulls from the area before it got extinct. This storehouse is located next to my cabin in Kongsberg and every time since I was born my mother yelled out "Look! Bear skulls!" when we drove past. So now it is a tradition I'm doing every time I go up there(only when I have company of corse..)

My desk. It's not as boring as it looks, but guess you have to be there... the light you see is actually from the sun, so I'm not totally hidden in a large building.

The interview; first time in Stavanger.
It was bloody cold that morning. Had to put on the engine heater... Later it came 15 cm of wet heavy snow which made a total trafic chaos.

I had no clue where I was when taking this. Stavanger quay.

Who knew it was somewhere under that bridge I was gonna work..

Comments:
bear lodge reminds me of the "Kwakiutl" (sp?) native american indian traditional lodges......they are usually a thunderbird and faces a certain direction....and the entrance would be a mouth of the bird-men go in there dressed up as some sort of ceremony....
so what's the bear lodge about/for?
hahahah! lookit your work space?!?! so does your boss glance at you or come by all the time making sure your not surfin the net? hehehehehe!
i like these boat pictures you got....norway....europe looks very colorful....how'd you get the shot? from a helicopter?

It's not usual to have a bear skull on the store house, but rather a raindeer horn or elk horn. Or maybe just trophies of what they hunted down at that time. It's house where they stored food in the old days. buildt high so the mice couldn't get inside and eat it.
Haha, I hope not, maybe he is watching me right now... :-| Got sort of a bad conscience now... But I will stop when I get my own internet up and working. Promise!
Thanks :-) If Volvo=Helicopter, yeah. But no. My car was parked higher than the surrounding, therefor the bird perspective :-)

hva bruker du forstørrelsesglasset på veggen til?

(på pulten din på jobb,altså)

*nysgjerrig*

God morgen Marianne!

Bai bai!
