Long Weekend

Don't know if I'd made it without this monday off.. Thought about joining the "first of may parade", but got to the conclution that I could not think of a good enoungh reason why I should attend...

Friday: Had my colleagues minus a few at my appartment for a "move in" party. Much fun, but as usual I got abit drunk.. But think all the others got drunk too so it doesn't matter. Fun anyway. Got a bottle of whine and a book called "pointing book for the company party" as a move in gift from my department.

Saturday: Helped a friend from Haugesund who is also a co student from Trondheim moving into his and his girlfriends new appartment. As a thanks I got this quite new 28" Samsung TV. Excellent! Or is it? Have been without a TV for three months and it's actually quite nice :-) Well, well the damage is already done..
Was supposed to meet him and some others in the city later that night. But they had to cancel after they had a company dinner. I'd already been drinking abit som I ended up in the city after all. Not one of my best ideas. Went home relative quickly.

Sunday: Dinner and beer and wiskey at a colleague. Very good and much fun! But I starting to think I might had too much alcohol by now.
Went home and looked at my "new" TV.

Today, Monday: Got up at nine. Looked at my "new" TV again. Much sad news... Went jogging. After a while my knee started hurting (damned stone street!). Walked home. Eate dinner. Went to work to access the internet.

Will go to a cafe now, down town.

Cheers

Good evening! It's time to bed in Japan... I'm sleepy;-Ь

What is the festival? I can see there are soooo many people in the festival. Maybe I've never experienced such a big event in Japan.
You don't like the festival? Why not?

Michael: Aren't we all :-)

Erika: Good evening! About time to go to bed here too.. should be sleepy, but I'm not. Need to force myself to sleep...
The photo is from the first of may, which is the workers day in Norway. Then people go in a parade and complain about things that are wrong in this country. But I would rather see that we make it into a festival for the workers and celebrate that things are as good as they are. But hey; it's a day off so I like it :-D

That's interesting festival!
Japan doesn't have such an interesting festival. Maybe you could get rid of your stress? I wanna join the festival;-)

I've heard that it is often a very hard work environment in Japan. You should have had a festival like that! Good for curing stress.
Come join us! :-)
