First Week
Today is friday and I have been here for one week.
Everything has been great except from the fact that I caught a very bad cold the day before my first day at work. Still struggeling with it, but with heavy medication I get through the days.
People here are very nice. We are a team of twelve people, who work in the inspection planning department. Yeah; my title is "inspection planner". I'm currently working in the "Tampen"-project with the oil rigs Statfjord A, B and C.
At the moment I'm just reading procedures and learning parts of the job. But very ok.
We have also sort of flexi-time with core time from 09-15 and two hours flexi before and after this. (if you start at eight you finish four and at 9 you finish five a.s.o) This can be very nice if you have an "inspection beer" in the middle of the week, like this wednesday. Or you can use it to get to a state office before going to work... or after work.
Well, will write more later. Have to go back to work.
