72 meters up in the air

Ahh.. Just came down after a climb to the top of the "butane splitter tower" that goes up 72 meters up in the air. With me was Ole Andre who says that the fast climb and fall in height have given him tinnitus in his left ear. Think he just like to complain :-p

My arms are pretty sheit right now. Should practice abit more before we go for our goal of climbing every tower in the factory before the summer ends.

One and a half hour left of the night shift. Looking forward to having the weekend off. Looking forward to do some serious celebrating.

72 meters!? wow... sounds scary, but exciting. What is this place for? Is it a sort of factory? Have fun^^!

Hi Yuri!
Yeah, I think it is always abit scaring standing on the top looking down... But the adrenalin kick is worth it :) This time it was almost no wind so the tower didn't swing back and forth like it use to..
I'm not sure of the correct english word but I think it is more a plant than a factory. It gets raw gas from the North Sea and fractionate it into methane, ethane, propane and butane.
Have fun! :)

Damn, I would get dizzy up there... I'm not even fully comfortable sitting in Tyholttårnet :)

But in Tyholttårnet you also have the risk of getting you feet stuck in the rotating floor.. that has to hurt..

Cheers!

Hi there - back from my travels.

Sounds like you guys will either be fit or hospitalised by the end of the summer then, eh? LOL Have a great time this weekend! :P

Hi Spirit!
Hehe, yeah.. hope for the first alternative, but hospitalized to a certain degree will also be worth it :)
Cheers!
