Modern Life is Rubbish

Since my camera died from the lack of battery power, I felt like there was nothing to post about. My battery charger have most likely gotten into Glenn's suitcase as he left for Cyprus. Not sure where it is. Probably in a waste basket on Stavanger International Airport.

Anyway, wrote that I was tired last Thursday. It wasn't much sleep to get in Bergen either. But, we did alot on our project on friday. And it was very nice to see friends and family in Bergen too. (Marianne; someone doesn't want us to meet..)

Well, was so exhausted on sunday that I got ill on Monday.

Was almost well again on friday, but then I got a "surprice visit" by two friends from Kongsberg/Oslo who drove a MC across the mountain. Much fun, alot of sightseeing, late nights and early mornings.

Tired now...

Tomorrow I'm going to bergen again.. This time for a Department "get together". My flight leaves at 0715 from Stavanger. Means I have to get up at 0500 in the morning...

Will be back at tuesday evening.

Wednesday it is a company boat trip. Starting to regret I signed up. Hmm.. but then agian, not really :-P

Will, probably have the money to celebrate Lene's 25th birthday in Bergen next weekend. Hope so! :-D

Tuesday the 6th of june it is the annual summer party at work.

So, lots of things happening.

Will, look for a new charger for my battery. Then I might post some photos.

Have to get up at 0500 tomorrow.. Second time this week!! Do not like that. But will get the chance to stay the whole weekend in Bergen. Nice! Work tomorrow until 16, then I'm invited to dinner :-D

My cousins husband who is English explained to their four year old daugther why they we celebrated this day: For many many years the Danish occupied Norway, then Norway got its freedom, two hundred years later the oil was found. That is why we celebrate seventeenth of May.

Glenn was the first one to test my new guest bed (incl. a sofa). His verdict; Very nice! So now you all know it is safe to visit.


Will go to Haugesund tomorrow. Will hopefully get there in time to see the 16th of may soccer game. Have fun! Good night

Had a long night sleep tonight. Did well, but I'm still not 100% recovered..
Glenn is visiting me from today till monday morning on his way to Spain, so will have to be quick with the posting.

Ok, back from Team Building. It was a success! Will show photos later.
But of course I got very drunk last night. Don't think I did any thing stupid, but there are always some anxiety. Well, tired today. Will stay home and rest tonight.

When I got to the office one hour ago I had gotten mail from the post office. They were pretty mad at me for trying to post a private letter as a company letter. Stupid me had little time before leaving yesterday; saw it as a easy quick way to do it as the letter was a bit urgent.

Well, wish all a nice weekend. Gotta go before I fall asleep at my desk.

I am going on a trip to Sirdalen today with my co-workers. It called team building and we are supposed to have two lectures and do alot of sosial things. Not sure what, it's a surprise :-)

Got a mail from one of my leaders yesterday where he said that I was picked out as a volenteer to make one of the dishes tonight. Can I say anything but yes? What I'll be making is called "fenalår med kesam og honningglaserte jordbær" in Norwegian, translated into something like this: Cured leg of mutton with sour cream and honey glazed strawberries :-P

Ok, we are leaving in one hour.

As I mentioned earlier we have access to a large amount of company storage space. Came across a folder that was called "Team India" today. We have a team of Indian engineers from the city of Mumbai who is stationed at Aker Kvaerner in norway for a year to learn..something. They recently threw a party for their Norwegian co-workers. And this is how it looked like. Looks fun, right?

Went to Haugesund this weekend. And why not start the whole thing with a one and a half hour queue on to the ferry...?


But finally I got home and was met by my father and my sister. Still VERY nice weather by the way :-)


After a very late night on Friday, I was awaken very early on Saturday. It was time to work in the forest.. My father telling me to stop taking photos and start working so we can finish before sunset :-)


And what is better than having a good two hours with soccer after four hours of carrying timber? Thomas and Kjetil, Kjetil is the GK.


Of course not always easy to score a goal is it? :-p
