Photos!

Hi! Then it's time for a late update.
Been very busy the past days. Mostly work, sleep and preparing for the party.
Got some photos I'd like to show you.
Start with the easter 2006:

Here I'm in Haugesund. Typical easter weather. Snow and rain...

Oslo! I'm pretending to be a turist; taking photos of Karl Johan and the Castle.

Me and Harald went to the city on "Maundy Thursday" to drink coffee and to post a letter. Went looking for a mail box for bloody 20 minutes!

Harald at the coffee shop.

We took a chance at parking on the Portogese embassey's private parking.

Coolest drawing ever! Haralds brother made this at age five in 1988.

Cato with coffee outside the mayors office in Lørenskog.

Easter Photo

Hi!
Here you can see me skiing outside our cabin in Kongsberg. Lots of wet snow and sunshine.
Have been mounting my new sofa bed(You can now come visit without being afraid of having to share the bed with me :-P) and book shelves the last days. Will post some more later on.
Good night

Car Reborn

Yesterday I drove out to a small car garage, located on an island called Karmøy, to have them adjust my cars ignition. For the hour they was supposed to look at it I went for a walk to the old shut down "Visnes mines" (The mines where all the copper in the statue of liberty comes from).

A mine shaft that is now filled with sea water:

An overview of the wharf area:

And the Statue of Liberty monument (Made of aluminium!!! And costed 200'000 Nkr!!! Sheesh!)(But a nice memorial anyways I guess):

Well, when I finally got to the mines they called me from the workshop and told me that he wouldn't do anything with the car as it looked like hell in the ignition distributor, and he had no spare parts.

So I had to go home without fixing it.

Later I drove to this cheap car part shop and bought a kit to replace the bad parts. Talked to uncle Jarl if he could help me with it. And after two hours my car sounds like new, more power, lower gas usage; everything!

Will drive to Oslo tomorrow.

Bye!

Happy Easter Part Two

OK, I know, but this one was so cute that I had to scan and post it:

"Nicht Lustig" by Joscha Sauer

For people who haven't a clue about what the man is saying I'll try to translate: "Sorry. I thought, he was made of chocolate."

It is snowing like hell outside now. Will probably just rain away later.

Party tonight!

Have fun, cheers

A visit by Asbjørn

This weekend I had a visit by Asbjørn.
Beer at the work place wharf:

We met "bamse the strongest bear in the world". Had to take a photo:

Sightseing: The old city fire watch tower. Took this photo. Not sure why.

A last attempt to get the youth to join....:

Later we went out in the city, was mistaken for someone else by a very nice girl who probably was supposed to meet a guy she met on the internet.
"Kødde dåkke me meg elle?! Oi, eg har tatt feil! Der sitte an..."
