Modern Life is Rubbish

Since this morning it has snowed abit more. Looked like this when I went out earlier today:


Then when I drove home to night it started of course to snow wet and heavy snow. Almost complete caos, and people having problems staying on the road.
I'm not sure how safe it is to take this photo while driving...


The road up to my parents house is very steep, and I get stuck in the middle of it. After a few tries, I give up and park my care here at the bottom...

Finally have we got some snow.

Ok, so I went to the supermarked today. No wallet there. Drove then down to the police station and got myself a temporary drivers licence. Then I drove to Glenn to look for it. The least probable place, but I have had a plastic bag with me that I only checked 80%.

Of course it wasn't in the bag, but Glenn had just found Asbjørns wallet in his own jacket. It seemed that he had the same one and A. had taken G.s' when leaving. Anyways, I said: "lets for fun just see if mine is there. And if it is, I'll charge him for robbery."

For some reason it was there. Quite funny actually :) He must have taken it by instinct as I had run in adwance to take the taxi on saturday, and then just forgotten about it. (that is what I think) :-D

Well, then everything is back to normal and I'm thinking of going back to Kongsberg to get some peace for my job searching. Applied for two today. Both in Stavanger. A city some south of Haugesund. Both for Aker Kvaerner Offshore Partner.

Well, not that many, but some.

Lost my wallet some where between the supermarked, Asbjørn and Kjersti and the Taxi that took us to Glenn Saturday evening. Then Asbjørn lost his wallet at Glenn. At four o'clock I took a taxi back with A and K to look for mine at their place. Couldn't find it and K paid my taxi home.

Still no sign of it.

Hope it's at the super marked..

Played football today. That was excellent! My whole body hurts, but that's a good sign. I think :P

Well, have to sleep a bit.

Aiai.. I can't find my latest testimonial from my summer job. THis is not good. It's probably lost after the "evacuation" of my fathers cellar one month ago...


Why can't I for once learn.

Ok, I know it all comes in the wrong order..

On my way from Berlin to Oslo I stopped five days in Copenhagen to visit my sister who works at the scandinavian dell office. (To all you germans and who it may consern: No, scandinavia does not include Finland, only N, S and DK.)

Today I'm going on a date with a girl I met at the party Saturday. It's a coffee date at 12.00 in Oslo centrum. Not quite sure what is going to happen. Will anyways be fun :)

Was convinced by Kristian to stay one more day and attend a concert with "black rebel motorcycle club" at John Dee tonight.

Tomorrow I will go to Kongsberg on the way to Haugesund. That is if nothing makes me change my mind.

Starting to run out of buffer days until the 50 year aniversity on saturday in Haugesund.

Well, I've been back in Oslo now since thursday evening. Tried to post several times, but it was sort of not working.

Had a very nice time in trondheim. Have been writing it four times before so I'll skip the rest. See the photos further down.

Got back to oslo on thursday evening. We, Øystein and me, went straight to Kristian to eat elk-burgers with potatoes, broccoli, tyttebær and "wild sauce". Nice!

On friday I went to my uncles birthday party ended up at a afterparty at two police officers'. A lot of other things happened, things that where a bit crazy and things that I'm not very proud of. I don't want to go into detail..

Saturday: Drove a bit to early, I think, back home from my uncles'. Lost my half of my toll road money under my car as I was about to pay. Had to crawl under my car to get it. When I got up this carpenter was ready to pay for me :P Everybody was laughing, luckily.. I was a bit stressed :)

Later I went to Øystein and ate dinner and watch the National game between Norway and Czeck republic. Later we went and met the others, Kristian, Jacques and Steinar. Then we went to this party at Sankthanshaugen. I must say it was one of the best partys I've been to for years. Think it has something to do with the fact that I've re-discovered that vodka is a greath substitute for beer.

Sunday: Got up at 15.30. Went home. Forgot about fathers day. Got to bed at 22.00.

Today I slept to twelve... 14 hours of sleep!! A bit more that usual.

Gotta run. Have to get a tire company to spike up one of my tires before the mountain climbing...

Beer, cigarettes, power failure, an alcoholic father being knocked down at a bar, my friends' current "on forced" room mate who was the one that knocked him down, a depressing life situation and too much work..



I was yesterday visiting one of my childhood friends from the time that I lived here in Oslo. We drank beer and talked about what is and what had been. It was not the best days he has had, and it got worse along the evening. He has now no longer a room mate.

The "room mate" and his father also got sacked from a building project last night, as his father had "spoken freely" to the customer that same evening, but my friend was told that he could finished the job if he wanted. He's a smart guy, and I hate seeing his family fucking it all up. It's complicated. Hope it will work out in the end.

Today I will take the night bus to Haugesund. I think.
