Across the Mountains
The weekend 16 th to 20 th of June I drove across the mountains to Oslo. First to visit my mother, then to go to our "cabin" in Kongsberg together with a friend to relax and go fishing. Relaxing includes of course: Frisbee, coffee, beer, film, cafe trip with old roomies to town, food and music.
The long and winding road:

Nobody believed it would survive, but it's still running:

Håvard and Sigrunn, my old roomies:

Me and Harald drinking beer and watching the film "SAW":

Coffee and no civilization:

Harald on the shore of "Buvatn". A last glance at the surface before leaving. My favorite shot of the whole trip.

Successful bottles and more
Think I might be on my way to recovery now, think I'll might start blogging again. But still feel kind of sick just touching the keyboard.
Had a very successful vine party Saturday. It started off very sophisticated and nice as you can see on the photos.

And this late night image of Anders might give you a clue about how successful it was.

Late night poem
I'm drunk and it feels good.
I'll finish this night with an abstract poem:
My grandfather has a rocking chair
It has great wings
The eagle has eaten them all
Ice cream is good
I like flying above the ground.
Even though it is cold
This was a challenge from anders, his was much better... aaaa... need sleep...

Well, after a hell of a lot corrective adjustments and formal misunderstandings I'm nearly there. Just the summary and some other things left.. I'll give it two hours.

heh... I'm in such deep shit right now... I'm so bloody stressed... ARGH!!
It obviously doesn't help typing argh here.. buhuu..
What shall I do? What can I do?
Nothing until to morrow morning anyway..
So why stress?
It doesn't help at all!

Soon..
..I'll be sitting in readiness as a operator, just surfing the net, drinking coffee, logging temperatures and pressures, smell around for hydro carbon gas. Not thinking of any schoolstuff at all. And on top of it all getting paid for it. This is going to be a good summer..
No time for dreaming or writing(on the net that is)! Got to go! I'll tell you all how it went once I have delivered the master assignment on Wednesday. Have a good one! Cheerrrs

Today I took a walk through out the premises of the economics department. Asked everybody nicely if it was OK if I could print out my master times three at their color laser printer. To my surprise everyone smiled and said "yes of course!", well except for one who just said "whatever, I'm not printing anything..". This whole semester I thought the had something against me, after all they never said hi and was always looking angry and suspicious at me. Maybe they just expressed their happiness for the fact that I soon is about to leave them alone. Maybe It because I almost never bothered to shave or get a hair cut. I guess I'll never know the answer.
Think I will manage to get a first edition for editing this afternoon. That would be nice.
Had six cups of coffee so far today, I now consider my self a caffeine junky.
Have a nice day! Cheers

3 days left
Yepp, three days left and I have no clue of how I am doing compared to when I have to finish. Can I just surf through the last remaining days or have I got to stress like hell to get to the finish line? I feel I'm bloody blind! I have absolutely no clue..
I almost hit a girl on a scooter with my car today. Looked to my right, left, right again, didn't see her, suddenly she was right in front of me. Felt like crap afterwards. Up until now I had never considered my self as an potential killer. Was very angry as well. Why couldn't she have worn something more visible than her camouflaged colored outfit? Anyways my mistake, and I need a day off. Seriously.
Will go down to the beach on Wednesday evening and get drunk. Forget this whole semester.
Nice to have a goal. Something to look forward to.

Hi! I quit smoking two months ago today. Thought I'd made it through the part when I felt like having one more. But no, I could kill for a cigarette right now. "Lucky" for me there isn't any cigarette sellers for about 20 minutes by car from here. Ahh..
If it hadn't been for this machine I'd be crazy by now(more crazy than now that is).

Well, what is there to do when you are restlessly trying to type shit into you master paper? Why not try on the new flame retardant outfit you got together with the hard hat and safety goggles?

Thinks it looks nice, wish I could wear it in public.
Well it's gonna be a long night. Hopefully. Hope you all have a nice weekend!

A new start wanted while whining
CRAP CRAP CRAP
I seriously conceder renaming my blog "Whining Blog".
The clock is ticking down towards deadline, 5 days left. Got to "school" at 15.15, it's now 19.15. Haven't done shit, except opening all document and stared at them while listening to music. If you haven't heard "Blonde Redhead" I urge you to do it.
Today my view outside looks like this. More interesting when it rains:

Lets see. The reason I didn't manage to get my ass to school before three o'clock to day is sort of valid though. Had a nice chat with the mechanic as well:
[mechanic]: Lets see.. hmm.. ehem, are you sure you need a recite for this job?
[me]: (Quite surprised) eh.... Yeah, no, that would have been excellent not to get a recite! (not managing to hide my excitement at all)
[mechanic]: Ok, let see, we'll say 800 kroners then...
[me] Wow! Thanks!
The fact that this standard job costs approximately 2000 kroner, made me very happy. Now I could actually afford fuel for the next week without having to borrow money from my father.
Well, tea time!

Cheers!

Summer rain
Oh, I forgot to bring food to "school" today/tonight. All they have in the "food" dispenser down stairs is chocolate and yoghurt. Nothing that can satisfy my hunger. Mmm.. Food.. Guess this "all day pass" gives me a lot of time to think. For instance, what have I achieved in my 24 year life? Don't want to get in to that.
I took a look outside some minutes ago. After having been "blind folded" all day, the dimmed light outside was kind of annoying. Raining.. Well, it looks kind of cool on the wall of my neighbor window.

Ok, I'll think I'll go an buy my self a yoghurt before I collapse from hunger. And I'll grab a coffee on the way back.

Nice people all around
This is my "thank you" post for people who deserves a thank you today.
Thanks to my master assignment guide at SINTEF who provided me with an excellent assignment recipe.
Thanks to Spirit of Owl, Hogne and Anders for excellent tips of photo storage locations.
Thanks to the student contact at my former high school who manually translated my "lost" grade card as the database was destroyed two weeks ago.
Thanks to my Statoil contact and guide who got me an "all day pass" to the facilities so that I from today can work 24 hous a day at the office.
Thanks to the mechanic that got my car an appointment to be fixed already to morrow.
Thanks to Erik for telling me that the camshaft strap should have definitely been replaced five years ago.
Both thanks and no thanks to the Germans processing my application at FU-Berlin who told me that I only paid them 25 euro even though I paid them 50 euro.
Cheers!

Seeking answers
Went through my digital camera yesterday after the Trondheim visit. Now I think I know why I might not have passed my exam. (I don't blame the other guys, I got my own will......(?))

The first three (red from top, left to right) is from our coffee brake at the airport buss stop, as the canteen at campus was closed. The last three is from our coffee brake outside the campus canteen.
I'll remember it as good times...

Screwed it up again..
Yeah, glad that's over. Can only do one thing and that is to forget it..
I think my math exam went strait to hell, and I also managed to catch a cold as I was sleeping in the drying room of my former apartment in Trondheim. Moist and cold.. Bloody stupid..
Time to give up on earthly pleasures and start my race towards the master assignment deadline.
By the way: It is today 100 years since we broke up with the Swedes.. Hooray.

Detaching the Swedes 2
It just crossed my mind when taking the bus home yesterday. Is a 100 years of independence enough? Is it about time to get into the European Union?
I'll never be able to decide.. Anyway, we are already in the union. Or slaves for the union. Pay them a lot of money, live under their restrictions, but have nothing to say when it comes to deciding something. And get no benefits. (Only the right to export some stuff like salmon(but not too many!) and trade.)
This land will go under if our politicians can continue what their doing.
Maybe I's just as good to say yes to EH once and for all? Or are we still independent and strong enough to stay outside?
Anyway, I don't care anymore.
Walked to school today. It was raining. Had an umbrella. It was very windy. Cold. You name it. Anything, but summer.
Caught one of my friends, Øystein, on "film" while he was talking to his friends in the trees yesterday. This was when we were walking back from the campus coffee brake. I was a bit petrified..

Wohoo!
Hmm.. I just found out an answer to one of the math questions on last years exam. In stead of solving the equation, I take a break and go to the computer.
I think I seriously need some help on my concentration. Any good tips? Besides leaving my computer at home?

Detaching the Swedes
Ok, when I went to buy some food at the store last evening I saw that Trondheim city had made the old Swedish-Norwegian flag as a flower decoration. Well, it's 100 years since the union brake up on Tuesday, but doesn't this decoration symbolize that this flag was a "good" flag (good union)?
I'm not a fanatic patriot, but it was just something that crossed my mind.
By the way, I think the decoration was excellent!

Nothing like a loong morning walk
After 15 good hour at school yesterday I went home to see that my friends who I live with during my Trondheim stay were having a big party, having had their last exam and all... Well, after having had one beer I silently snuck away from the living room and went down to sleep. (with ear plugs)
Well, then today at 0700 I found out that it was Saturday, and the buses doesn't start running before nine'ish. Then what is better than a nice 50 minutes walk? For the first time over 12 degrees before 10 as well.
Hope there will be some other people at school today as well, I need to throw some Frisbee..
coffee time!
Cheers

ehh.. the raw material is there, but you just need to.....
Hey!
Well they were kind of nice, I must say. I got A LOT of work to do, but aren't allowed to do anything till Tuesday, the day after math exam.
We'll see what happens, I'm sure that I have to try to stay away from the NET for about 90 percent of the time I've used each day up till now.
Wish you nice weekend!
Cheers

The Verdict
Sigh..
Have a meeting with my professor and another assignment guide in about an hour. They have red my work so far over night and will give their opinion on what I have written.
I'm so nervous..
I'll tell you how bad it went after the meeting.

Hmm..
After pushing the on/off button about 35 times it suddently starts working again..
Wonder if I should just hold on to it or send it back to the dealer.

A stroke of bad luck?
Ok, got my new digital camera yesterday. Collected it on my way to the airport as I was on my way to Trondheim.
Went to school today, charged the battery.
Turned the camera on. Took two photos(not very good ones)(my mistake), and then the camera displayed: !LENS ERROR!
Now it is completely locked and nothing works.
I wish I had time to be pissed about this as well, but have no time for it, got an exam on Monday!
